Recently signed up to Telstra but in the box that was delivered there was only the Telstra Smart Modem. I did not received the nbn Connection Box. Has this happened to anyone else?

NBN modem and nbn box is connected and working.  I have been told to call Telstra to tell them to activate the service. I can’t get through so what do I do.  The msge is that they can not do anything with my request will covid crisis continues.
