I am attempting establish adsl connection with telstra t gateway modem (first connection). All cord connections correct. Have green WAN, solid red ECO light. Devices connect to modem, but no internet connection. Have tried turning modem off and on again, holding ECO light etc - unsuccessful. Suggestions, please?

If the WAN is solid green but red ECO it sounds like an authentication issue
Have you logged into the modem (telstra.gateway or 10.0.0.138 in the address bar of your browser), pressed the broadband button, and entered your bigpond details into the username/password/confirm password section?
Thanks for the reply. That address won't load! I have turned off firewalls, tried in both firefox and safari, and no luck. Suggestions?
Try connecting a computer directly to the T-Gateway using a LAN cable. Any of the yellows ports will do, then use Yastiandrie instructions above to check your login details.
