new telstra modem printer won't connect..the MAc address of the printer is invalid
I just have connect to cable and I cant connect my printer it says when I do a wireless print report that the MAC address filtering is being used I tried to add the MAC for the printer and it says its an invalid address
Have you tried turning of MAC filtering in the modem by changing ACL mode to Blacklist or Disabled . If the mode is set to Black list then all devices will be able to connect except ones on the list. If set to disabled then all devices that have correct password will be able to connect..
If printer still can not connect check in the network IP settings on the printer that it is set to use DHCP, Dynamic or auto.
