Installation of phone socket

Hi there,

I have recently moved house and I'm planning to sign up for an internet and home phone bundle with another provider. However, there is only a phone cable coming from the wall but no socket. Can you please advise how I would go about getting the socket attached?

Thanks very much.

Re: Installation of phone socket

Hi lozburger - a licensed electrician would be able to install a home phone socket for you, but some providers may need you to have a home phone service active with Telstra before they can provide a connection. I'd recommend speaking with the carrier you're looking to sign up with for further confirmation.
