incomplete order for adsl reason and solution



I was supposed to have internet at me property on 14th December. I didn't receive modem by then so I went to a store and received a modem. Telstra teem meber checked my account and said the line is enable and as sson as I connect my modem and adjust the username and password I can use internet. but when I got home and did so last Friday, the modem could not connect. since then I've contacted various phone numbers and live chat and finally technical department said the order has not been completed. I cannot understand when I have everything and the link LED on the device is on, which problem can prevent me to connect? the bad thing is I'm receiving the same reply everyday as my net will be connected in 24 hours but nothing's happened yet.
