We have never been with Telstra and received a $1000 invoice. Went into the Telstra store and they said it's a business account, when in fact our number is residential. The numbers on the invoice are all 1900 numbers which are not reflected as being called on our Optus home telephone invoices. What is also strange is the description of the majority of the calls is to a company which was deregistered with ASIC in 2016. The Telstra overseas call centre had no idea and were not helpful and the Telstra store can't sort it out as it's a business account. Please advise how this issue can be resolved or provide an Australian call centre number who can deal with this.
