Hello my phone runs on

GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHZ, UMTS 900/2100 MHZ, HSDPA 7.2 MPS, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps

is that comaptible with Telstra NextG?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: Connectivity

Telstra NextG requires 3G at 850Mhz, while your handset supports 900/2100. You may still be able to get some 2G coverage though.

Re: Connectivity

Where did you get the phone from? And just to clarify what Kalak said, you're looking for devices that support 'UMTS 850 MHZ' for Next G support.

Re: Connectivity

Thank you for that.

I bought it overseas, looks like I have to sell it again, because I can only use it in towns....
