International Day Pass MMS

Hello

Are MMS included in the International Day Pass cost of $10 per day or is each MMS charged at 0.75 cents in addition to the $10 per day charge?

Thanks
Ruby

Re: International Day Pass MMS

Thanks JA5. That's the document I read and I interpreted it that way too. It isn't all that clear - it should say 75 cents per MMS "in addition to the daily rate of $10" if that is the case.

Hi @RubyV

Just to clarify, the following is listed:

  • MMS (Event Fees), video calls or calls to non-standard numbers (satellite numbers, premium numbers and operator assisted calls)
  • Content charges (including third party charges)
  • Calls, SMS and data usage in destinations not covered by your International Day Pass.

Along with:

Unlimited Calls + SMS

MMS - 75c per recipient per message

Re: International Day Pass MMS

“Event fee” is a bit esoteric; sounds like Telstra jargon. A quick search only showed up Telstra results.

Thanks. What if you use wifi to send picture messages? Is that also a 75 cent charge per MMS?

Re: International Day Pass MMS

If it is sent via something like Facebook messenger, Instagram, Snapchat, iMessage - these will process as data.

If sent via mms message it will go as mms and trigger the fee.
