International roaming using prepaid New Zealand

Traveling to NZ in a couple of weeks. Will my prepaid service work over there if I set my phone to roaming ?

Yes. Just make sure that you have sufficient credit before you leave and switch off your mobile data as well. Turn it back on when you get there so that it can register on the network, then back off again just to make sure that you don't blow all your credit on data if your phone decides to download stuff in the background.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
