Just received a phone call from 'Telstra Technical Department' to advise of an internet virus that is very dangerous but that they can help me 'fix the problem'. I hung up without waiting for their advice. Anyone else received such a helpful call from 'Telstra?
Just tell them your experiencing a "blackout" and your computer won't turn on. Or ask them how they got the phone number for the international computer fraud department. That usually causes them to hangup if they are shonky.
