Unstable coverage/reception Burwood NSW

Answered

Anyone else experiencing terrible reception with their connection at Burwood, NSW?

I've just changed jobs (from Wynyard), and day 1 phone reception was unacceptable (yesterday).

I called Telstra support and they suggested to observe how it goes next day, but it's exactly the same.

As soon as I left(on train) around Strathfield, things were back to normal.

All OK at home morning and night too, without changing any settings.

I work close to the railway station (Burwood), on George st.

Symptoms (on my Android) - interchanging between the following:

- service unavailable

- white bars only

- periodically green bars, G and E, and all OK (but hardly ever)

- SMS'es have to be retried a zillion times to go through

- don't receive or send data until (obviously) all green and OK

I'm going nuts - work doesn't allow me to check gmail and such, need my phone to work here!!!

Hi wendoze

That's no good to hear Smiley Sad

You may be in what's called a "black spot" area which means you won't get good reception.

I suggest completing the feedback form so Telstra can investigate wether there is an issue with the network coverage in the area and to investiagte if it can be fixed.
