The festive season is officially here and the new year is just around the corner, which means it’s time to look back at the year that was for CrowdSupport!

Throughout 2019, we worked hard to keep you up-to-date and informed with all the latest news, product launches and announcements from Telstra. We’ve shared loads of how-to content to help you find the answers you’re searching for, and showed you some of the many ways you can utilise the Telstra 24x7 App and My Account.

Here’s just a few of our highlights from the past year:

New Members

Since the start of the year, we’ve had more than 72,000 new members register on CrowdSupport! Welcome to those who joined us throughout the year, and thank you to all 517,000+ of you who are part of our community today.

Coming soon: The 2020 Brains Trust

Early in the new year, we’ll be announcing the Brains Trust group for 2020. We’ll be selecting the most helpful, active and engaged contributors from throughout 2019 to be involved, recognising them for their incredible efforts assisting others by inviting them to this exclusive group.

A massive thank you to our outstanding 2019 Brains Trust members for your incredibly valuable contributions throughout the year. The community truly would not be what it is without you, so thank you!

All the latest news from Telstra

We’ve kept you up-to-date with all the latest throughout the year, including device launches and new services available from Telstra. We’ve introduced you to some exciting new offerings, like our month-to-month plans, Xbox All Access, Voice-Activated Calling, and Telstra’s Gift Hub.

We answered all your questions about Telstra Plus, and helped you better understand Early Termination Charges. We showed you what to do when you have a question about your bill, and how to easily manage your account and troubleshoot service issues.

We’ve also shared some important announcements this year, like the closure of our 3G network in mid-2024, and the launch of Telstra TV Box Office.

Helping you find solutions

Over the last 12 months, we’ve worked hard to share lots of articles to help you manage your Telstra account and services online with ease.

We helped you get your Telstra service ready before travelling overseas, and showed you the easiest way to track your Telstra order, how to arrange your new phone with Telstra, and how to change your mobile plan.

In 2020, we’ll be sharing even more of this helpful how-to content to make taking care of your Telstra account simple.

Helping you stay safe online

It’s been just over a year since we launched our Active Scams page, and the response we’ve seen has been overwhelmingly positive. We’ll continue to update this page regularly with new information from our security teams, to help you stay up-to-date with the scams and frauds we’re aware of.

Throughout the year, we also shared tips to help protect your online accounts, as well as helped you understand services such as Network Protection, Telstra Mobile Protect, and Parental Controls.

We’ll continue to place importance on your safety and security in 2020, and do our best to help you avoid scams, frauds and hoaxes.

On behalf of the CrowdSupport team, I’d like to wish all our members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for being a part of our community, and for all your contributions. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2020 😊
