Appreciate the initiative but in this day and age you still need to pay more for HD? Very disappointed!

Get serious with two things Telstra/Foxtel to serve your new age customers

- Include HD in all channels

- Include Closed Caption

Really really disappointed that current non-contracted Foxtel customers can't come across to Telstra & get this deal... Piss poor customer service in my books.. You try to attract new customers & ignore your faithful ones.. Really bad effort.

With the removal of World Movies, do we pay less? Why was it taken off, and will it return?

Hi Muir,

Welcome to CrowdSupport

As announced on 27th November 2017, as of the 1st February, the World Movies Channel was replaced by an On Demand selection of movies

Our FOXTEL from Telstra Team can be reached at 13 22 00 (09:00-21:00 Mon-Fri 10-20:00 Sat and Sun EST) by saying 'Change Foxtel' when prompted. This team can assist by altering your channel packs based on your requirements.

Hi Adam,

Did the announcement come through as an email? Do you have to pay for On demand?

Regards,

Muir.

This announcement was by FOXTEL and may have been via email or post.

FOXTEL On Demand is available to watch through your internet connected Foxtel iQ2/iQ3 and Foxtel app devices. It's included as part of your subscription, data charges may apply. If you can't access a movie or show, that channel is not part of your subscription and you need to upgrade your package.

When is Telstra going to do something for its long term loyal customers! Just received a flyer promoting a $39/month package for new subscribers only! I am paying $109/month without movies! I am sick of being gouged! Come on Telstra DO SOMETHING, before you lose another customer!

To the reply on Friday 9 Feb, I looked at On Demand and it says you have to book, does that mean I have to pay to replace a channel that was removed? Does the subscription price drop for another channel removed?

Hi Muir, the details at https://www.foxtel.com.au/whats-on/on-demand.html#connect advise how you can access the On Demand streaming options - there is no additional cost for this service, but as Adam_E has mentioned if a particular program or movie isn't accessible then it's not part of your current channel subscription and you would need to upgrade your package to view it.

Just looked at Telstra website and saw  Foxtel being advertised for $111, why am I paying $123 for the same product. Having been with Telstra for many years, I would've thought they would reward loyal customers?
