What is the new rewards program? What is Telstra Plus?
Telstra Plus is a new program that rewards and recognises customers for being with us. From 14 May 2019, Telstra Plus members can earn points based on their eligible spend. Coming soon, we will launch a Telstra Plus rewards store where members can put their points towards redeeming devices or accessories. Plus, additional benefits will become available over time for customers to access based on their membership tier, so stay tuned for more exciting details to come.
Is Telstra Thanks® still available?
Telstra Thanks is leaving: Telstra Thanks benefits will be moving to Telstra Plus soon, so provided that you're eligible to join Telstra Plus, you can still enjoy all the Telstra Thanks benefits as long as you enrol in the new rewards program at telstra.com/plus. We'll let you know when Telstra Thanks benefits are ready to move into Telstra Plus. Unfortunately, business customers will not be able to access Telstra Thanks when it ends, but stay tuned for more updates about rewards for our business customers.
Who can enrol/join?
Anyone over 18 with an active consumer/personal Telstra service who has a Telstra ID can join the program. If you are not the account owner or full authority, you will need to ensure the account owner joins first.
How do I get a Telstra ID?
First step, you must have a Telstra ID to enrol.If you do, you can either:
If you don't have a Telstra ID, you need to register at id.telstra.com.au/register. It may take up to 24 hours for it to be activated. Then, simply visit telstra.com/plus or sign into your My Account or Telstra 24x7 app with your Telstra ID, click on the link to join Telstra Plus, and then follow the instructions.
Can I join/enrol if I am a Telstra pre-paid customer?
Yes you can if you are 18+ and have an active pre-paid service and Telstra ID.
Can I join if I am not a Telstra customer?
No. Only Telstra personal (consumer) customers can join the program.
