The Rabbitohs have tightened their grip on the top spot after defeating the Bulldogs 24-6 at ANZ Stadium on Saturday. Adam Reynolds was quick on his feet, running 109 metres and scoring the teams’ second try from close range, while teammate Damien Cook made 46 tackles in defence.
It was a close win for the Storm, defeating the Sea Eagles by just one point at Lottoland, meaning the Storm are safe in 2nd position for another week. Melbourne’s Tim Glasby worked hard for 12 touches and 39 tackles, helping the team toward victory.
The Warriors defeated the Broncos 26-6 in an upset on Sunday at Suncorp Stadium, improving their position in the top 8. The Warriors had a number of outstanding players on the day, including Agnatius Paasi, Solomone Kata and Issac Luke.
