The Rabbitohs are climbing the ladder once again after defeating the Eels 26-20 and claiming 2nd position. Parramatta led 20-6 in the second, but South Sydney staged a dramatic comeback with three tries in nine minutes. The loss keeps the Eels at the bottom of the ladder, with just four wins all season.
It was a late comeback for the Panthers this week too, defeating the Sea Eagles 28-24 at Lottoland. Down 24-6 with 13 minutes left, Penrith managed four tries in just eight minutes, turning the match around and keeping their top-four hopes alive.
The Roosters have claimed 3rd position on the ladder after defeating the Dragons 36-18 at Allianz Stadium. The two top four teams battled it out to maintain their ladder positions, but the Dragons struggled, scoreless until the 40th minute. The Roosters dominated throughout and ultimately claimed the win, causing the Dragons to fall to 4th.
