The Broncos were dealt a massive upset by the Bulldogs with a 36-22 win at the weekend.

 

In other news, the Tigers still have the finals in sight after a weekend win over the Knights, the final score 25-16, with Luke Brooks securing a late field goal.

 

The Rabbitohs have beaten the Storm to become the competition top team, with a spectacular 30-20 win. Sam Burgess and Adam Doueihi were star performers getting the Rabbitohs back on track, after the Storm’s 16-6 lead in the first half.

 

Whilst, the Parramatta Eels are moving away from the bottom ranking, winning 28-12 over the Gold Coast Titans.

 

The Sea Eagles have shaken the Shark’s top four hopes with a 33-32 point win. Captain Daly Cherry-Evans took advantage of the extra time landing two points with a field goal.

 

The Panthers have made their return to the competition winning against the Raiders, 40-31. It wasn’t an easy win for the Panthers, at half time being 14 points down and 12 points down during the second half. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Josh Mansour scored tries in the space of three minutes helping to secure the Panthers position. It was also the efforts of Sam Williams, landing in the 67th minute, a field goal and captain, James Maloney, sealing the win in the 78th minute with three linebreak assists and two try assists.

 

The Dragons were defeated against the Warriors 18-12. This is the first win for the Warriors in Wollongong since 1996.

 

Finally, the Roosters won gloriously against the Cowboys at the weekend to make it their fourth in a row win. The final result was 26-20.
