Telstra Smart Home $100 Activation Bonus FAQs

How do I receive my $100 activation bonus?

To receive your $100 activation bonus you need to activate your Telstra Smart Home® service by 2nd July 2018.  Once you’ve activated we will send you a message that contains your unique code. This message will be within the Telstra Smart Home App in the top right hand corner.

If you need help activating call 13 2200 and say “smart home help”. Or follow the instructions in our How to activate your Telstra Smart Home starter kit guide.

 

How long do I have to wait to receive the message containing my unique code?

After activating your Telstra Smart Home you will receive a message within 3 hours. If you do not receive your message please give us a call on 13 2200 and say “smart home help”.

 

How do I use my $100 activation bonus?

You can use your bonus to purchase smart home devices through our online store. You’ll need to use your bonus in one transaction. To use your $100 activation bonus select “Redeem Now” within the message you receive in the Telstra Smart Home App. You will be directed to the Telstra Smart Home device accessories store. Once you have selected the smart home devices you wish to purchase head to the Check-Out to receive your $100 activation bonus.

 

What happens if I don’t use the full $100?

Your $100 activation bonus is only valid for one transaction. If you do not use the full $100, the remainder will be forfeited by you and you will not be able to redeem it at a later date.

The bonus or any unused portion of the bonus cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

 

What happens if I spend over $100?

If your additional device order totals over $100, you can use your activation bonus to pay $100 of the order and then pay the balance by credit card.

 

When do I need to use my $100 activation bonus by?

Your $100 activation bonus must be used before 11:59pm 9 July 2018 EST.

 

How do I find my code if I delete the message?

If you accidently deleted the message that has the $100 activation bonus code in it please give us a call on 13 2200 and say “smart home help” and we’ll help you find it.

 

How do I pay for my devices?

You can pay for your devices via Credit Card, Pay Pal or After Pay. Unfortunately you’re unable to charge any purchases directly to your Telstra bill.

 

My $100 activation bonus code isn’t working at check out, what do I do?

If you’re having problems with the $100 activation bonus code at check-out, please complete our Accessories Support contact us form and we’ll have a further look into it. 

 

My devices haven’t turned up, what do I do?

If you have not received your devices or they’re not the correct ones please complete our Accessories Support contact us form and we’ll have a further look into it.

$100 activation bonus offer: To be eligible to participate in this offer, you must have purchased a Telstra Smart Home service and not activated it with us. To receive your $100 activation bonus (Bonus), you must activate your Telstra Smart Home service before 11.59pm AEST on 2 July 2018. Once you have activated your Telstra Smart Home we will send you a message with a unique code via the Telstra Smart Home app. To redeem your Bonus, follow the prompts in your message before 11.59pm AEST on 9 May 2018. The Bonus must be used to purchase smart home devices through our online store and it must be used in one transaction. If the full $100 is not used, the remainder is forfeited by you and it is not redeemable at a later date. The Bonus (or any unused portion of the Bonus) cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. All other expenses associated with the devices purchased are your responsibility.
