@dm4 This was posted in the 'News Feed' thread :-)

I personally love finding out what new products are available at Telstra. It is so easy with a busy lifestyle to miss something I wish I didn't :-(

Now as for the Samsung Galaxy Book2, I was playing around with one of these last week which a friend had ordered with the Telstra 5G 'M' plan and I was certainly surprised by the experience. It was so 'nippy' when surfing the net, and the keyboard has a pleasant touch/feel to it even though it's plastic.

I'm still a mouse user when it comes to these type of things, inc laptops, so that is the only thing I missed, never really been into track-pads. Easy to plug a mouse in to it though. I would just need more real-estate to use it :-)

It certainly has a premium feel that I have come to appreciate from Samsung (Being a new S9 owner). The metal cover feels so nice when you move it around on your lap, it just feels so sturdy. The actual backstand does a very good job and always stayed at the angles I adjusted it to.

We took it fishing out on the boat and tried out Windows Maps down at Port Albert. Went right out in to the bay and comparing that to our boats GPS it was keeping accurate positioning via Telstra's 4G network. So that was a nice feeling in itself :-) The displayed ran fine all the time we were out there and that was roughly 4+ hours. I forgot to look at how much of the battery was left when we got back so battery use/drain is something I have not sure of.

I never played around with the S-Pen, as I always find I'm faster doing anything just using the keyboard.

Overall, yes, it is a product I'd be happy to own and use :-)

Update to above. It was running Navionics for the boat, and not Windows Maps as I first thought. So it was using GPS and just downloading the map/course updates over 4G. It was nice having a much larger screen than the boats GPS though :-)
