Today I am really excited to announce the launch of The Brains Trust, our new super user program. The Brains Trust are the 10 most influential, helpful and/or active contributors to CrowdSupport over the last 12 months. We are recognising them for their stellar efforts to assist others.

 

So, without further ado, I would like to welcome our 2017 Brains Trust members (in no particular order);

Before I get into the detail, I would like to take a moment to offer my deepest thanks, both personally and on behalf of my fellow Community Managers, for the absolutely fantastic efforts that each and every member of our current and previous leader/super user programs has put in to make CrowdSupport great. You guys and gals are all rock stars in my book!

 

Now, on to the nitty gritty.

 

How will membership to the new program work?

Each year the Community Managers will select and invite an elite group of users based on their contributions based on a combination of active participation (posts, replies, solutions, kudos and ideas) and contribution to the community culture in the previous year to participate.

 

What are the benefits?

Users who are selected to participate will receive;

  • Membership to a private group to collaborate with each other and as a direct line to our Community Managers
  • A unique rank icon for the duration of the current program and a permanent badge on your profile
  • Access to edit and create Community Wiki articles Weighted Kudos (2), which means that receiving a kudo from these users counts as double
  • The ability to mark/unmark solutions
  • The ability to move threads
  • Open invitation to visit either our Melbourne or Adelaide office and meet the team
  • Priority selection for Device Insider

We also have some other plans that will remain secret Smiley Happy

 

Are there conditions to be aware of?

Due to the higher level of access being awarded our Brains Trust will have some additional guidelines, however the rules are fairly common sense and are simply there to provide guidance on how to use the higher access appropriately.

 

Want to be part of next year's program?

Get stuck in and help others out on the forum and next year it could be your name being announced as one of our Brains Trust in 2018.
