SIM not provisioned for voice

I bought a back up telstra phone with just talk and text features over the weekend and tested my sim out in this phone for 2 days. When I returned my sim card back to my Samsung S8 it no longer has any phone or data services. It is saying that the SIM is not provisioned for voice services also.

First, I would try removing the SIM and reinserting it (as it may not be seated properly).


Then try a hard reset on the S8 (hold volume down and power button for 10 seconds until it vibrates).


If that doesn't work, give either 132200 a call, or chat online to a consultant via Livechat to see if something else has gone amiss.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
