Samsung Galaxy Watch - unable to sign in Telstra One Number

Just got a Galaxy Watch and am having issues accessing Telstra One number. Spent hours yesterday on live chat but the consultant was unable to help me.

 

Some details:

Phone - Galaxy S8

Telstra One service is active

Tried unparing and pairing

Tried resetting my telstra id password

 

Can someone help?

Hi @ed_edd_eddy

 

Usually you would open the Galaxy Wearable app on your Samsung phone & then select your watch from the list of devices and pair your Galaxy watch to your Samsung phone.

 

When prompted during setup, confirm your Telstra One Number subscription and your device will connect automatically to the Telstra network. $5/mth will be added to your monthly mobile bill.

 

Telstra One Number is only available for Consumer customers and Small Business customers with a 13-digit account number.

 

If you still need assistance my advice would be to speak with our mobile assurance team on 132200.

During setup, after I enter my Telstra ID, it comes up with an error message:

Sorry something went wrong. We're unable to confirm your account details at the moment. Please try again or come back later.

My last session with the live chat agent we tried unsubscribing, waited overnight and then tried the setup again and still the same error.

Having same trouble and Telstra can't fix the problem

Set it & forget it
