Buying equipment from Telstra

I recently bought a Samsung Note 10+ 5G from Telstra on a 24 month plan.

The new 25w charger was faulty. It would charge the phone directly but could not handle any of the three Samsung wireless charges I have.

This is obviously a warranty claim but who is responsible? Telstra or Samsung?

Neither wanted much to do with the claim and it was going to take between 3 and 6 weeks to fix or replace. Even the Samsung Note 10+ can't run that long without a charge.

Re: Buying equipment from Telstra

Hi Redgumtv, I'm sorry to hear of the problems with the charger and trust this can be replaced for you soon. I'm not sure about Samsung's replacement policy but any handset or accessory faults handled through a Telstra Shop our our 13 22 00 number are returned to our National Service Centre to be replaced.
