FM radio Galaxy s7 edge

Can we get FM radio on Australian telstra s7 phones or is it still locked out? I tried to download nextradio but it says device not compatible.

The American version of the S7/Edge uses a Snapdragon processor, which has FM radio support (but it's up to the telcos to enable it at the software level), the international version uses Samsung's own Exynos processor, which doesn't have FM radio support, so unfortunately we'll never have it on ours.

Uses data but now the restrictions are gone most Australian radio stations can now stream again, even community radio, without paying stupidly high fees.

No. looking for Radio that doesn't use data (like areas with poor coverage). They've unlocked the s7 FM radio reciever in America but not Australia from what I understand.
