Outlook app on s9+

Hello, have got the S9+. Deleted the standard email app due to problems with it continuing to download old emails from my bigpond.net server. Installed outlook.
All was working fine, but now find that all text in the body of my emails is missing!! This is in inbox as well as emails I have transferred to other folders. What the hell has happened??

Update...just noticed that if I hit reply to a blank email it allows me to show all of original message, and voila there it is!
Now I'm really confused...
Peter.

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Replying to myself....so I restarted my phone...and....the emails are now displaying. Anyone able to explain that?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, some apps (especially the Microsoft ones) require the device to be restarted in order for the drivers to load up correctly.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Try k9 mail I've been using it for years. It even supports multiple accounts
