Samsung galaxy watch 42mm

The battery life of my watch has been aweful since the moment I got it. I originally thought it was just because I was using it a lot  but I am now using minimal functions on it and yesterday it took it off charge at 6am and by 3pm it was dead. Do I take it back to Telstra or do I take it straight to Samsung?
