why is the tv show I am trying to watch via on demand on my IQ3 box freezing it has done this about 5 times already WHAT is causing this issue how can I work out what is causing this issue IS it a network issue or FOXTEL my internet speed test on the IQ3 shows download speed 9.64mbit/s Quality of service it has only one bar and it is red
speed test is first bar red two yellows and two green bars. these issues are becoming annoying why do I pay for rotten service that constantly keeps happening

Sorry for the frustration; that's certainly not what we aim for. 9mbps should suffice for streaming Foxtel. When you say this has happened 5 times, over what sort of period of time are we talking about? Are you getting Foxtel over a satellite dish or through your broadband connection? - Matthew.

I don't think the isue is caused by network congestion or the speed of your link. 9.6 Mbps is fast enough for high definition video. I have the same problem with foxtel on demand in the evening and my connection is 48 Mbps. I think the problem is congestion on the foxtel servers as there is no problem with foxtel on demand during the day and there is no problem with video freezing from other streaming services such as youtube, stan and tubi.
I am using a satellite dish. it happened in a period of 20 minutes whilst watching the show. it also occurred after logging this post.
tonight I started watching a show at 10:40pm and the same thing occured 3 times in a matter of 5 minutes. but now has stopped it is intermittent but is rather annoying.
I agree the speed has finally been fixed in the area recently but it is rather annoying for it to happen especially when FOXTEL is not exactly cheap.
