TIPT - Unable to upload Music On Hold

Hi, I'm trying to upload a file for music on hold.

However when I access the Music/Video On Hold Modify screen in the web portal, I'm not getting an option to upload a file when the Custom Music/Video file (see image).

Any advise on how can can enable this?

Hi @Paul2021

 

Music on Hold is uploaded via the customer group administrator login at each site.

  • Select Services – then Music / Video on hold.
  • Then tick custom and choose file – browse to the file and upload

Group > Profile (left menu) > Announcement Repository > Add.


Once uploaded, you can select it under the menu you screenshot.

 

In CommPilot, you can find a help link in the top right corner... Occasionally I find it helpful.

 

To record a greeting to use as a custom Music/Video On Hold file:

Follow the instructions given in Record a Personal Greeting or Announcement to record an audio file for use with this service, or follow the instructions given in Record a Video Greeting or Announcement to record a video file.

To download an audio or video file to your group's announcement repository, see Announcement Repository Add.
