Telstra IP Telephony voice portal outbound call dialling
Hi planet TIPT, cosmonaut here, just a short note advising that Telstra is disabling the ability to make an outbound call via the Voice Portal. The change will be made on 11th November during business hours.
Telstra has been required to make this change to prevent revenue fraud.
The effect of the platform change is is that when a TIPT customer enters the voice portal and presses ‘6,’ they will NO longer be prompted to enter the destination digits to make an outbound call. From 11th November, Telstra will disable the capability to make an outbound call and pressing 6 will have no effect.
