After connecting to nbn yesterday after some initial problems both computer and t hub working fine, now this morning computer ok but t hub keeps coming up with error msgs. spent hour on phone to tech support got working for while now getting the error msgs again. VERRRRRY frustrating please help

What are the error messages?
google has stopped or google play store has stopped. you tube was working before but now saying it needs updating,cant because google has stopped
That usually means that google services (the component that allows updates to work properly), needs to be updated.
If you can't get into Google Play to do this, then I'm not sure that there is another way to update it.
Unfortunately hardware sometimes reaches a point where the updates stop working. I've had this happen on some of my old hardware.
You could try restarting the THub, then going straight into Google Play when it has restarted and getting it to update everything that has an update.
