iPhone 24x7 app - my usage without login

Until the last update of the Telstra 24x7 iphone app it was possible to see the My Usage page without logging in (by being outside Wifi and having 3G data enabled). It no longer opens and instead asks me to login. I can't log in because it's a business account (I only want to see personal usage - nothing else). Did the app change?

I saw an update is rolling out today let me know if that fixes the problems

I found changes with 24/7 from a month ago when I upgraded iPhone to the new iPhone 6. I can no longer see any current usage to date via the iPhone app Telstra 24/7. I do not know if it was the app update but even loging into My Account on the pc usage of plan is not showing but only numbers of calls and sms etc no $ of plan used. No problem opening the app on iPhone via wifi or 3G. I had opened my issue on croupsupport a few days back but received no resolution.

Hi, You don't need to login to an account to see data usage, but make sure wifi is off, you can't track data usage with wifi on

 

Its best to login to the account to see the full account information

Not true,with the latest update to the 24x7 app you now need to login just to see your usage.This was told to me by staff at a Telstra store.

Stupid decision especially for people using work iPhones and iPads that don't have the login details as it is a company account.

It was easy to keep track of your usage in this way.Please revert it back to the old way of doing things

I use Windows phone so I guess that change hasn't come across yet

I have the identical problem

 

I tried a few things:

 

24X7: broken: cannot retrieve usage with Wireless off, and prompts for login

Website: login in ok , but usage broken:  message is "cannot retrieve usage data at this time"

SMS 176: broken: message "service temporarily unavailable"

 

I contacted Telstra via live chat, and after being passed around via 4 different people i was given my usage data in the chat session. When I asked them when the service would be fixed they said a major upgrade was in progress and they didnt know the date.

Can use app previously to check usage without logging in. Now can't at all using iPhone or blackberry. Same situations as others here.

As of today (Oct 22) it is working again. I didn't do anything. Smiley Happy
