Hi, You don't need to login to an account to see data usage, but make sure wifi is off, you can't track data usage with wifi on
Its best to login to the account to see the full account information
I have the identical problem
I tried a few things:
24X7: broken: cannot retrieve usage with Wireless off, and prompts for login
Website: login in ok , but usage broken: message is "cannot retrieve usage data at this time"
SMS 176: broken: message "service temporarily unavailable"
I contacted Telstra via live chat, and after being passed around via 4 different people i was given my usage data in the chat session. When I asked them when the service would be fixed they said a major upgrade was in progress and they didnt know the date.
