Pre paid to mobile plan

Hey guys,


I have recently swapped from pre paid to a pre paid plan. I can make texts and my 5GB of data has kicked in but my phone will not make any calls now. It will receive them but it just hangs up when  I attempt it. It has not been 24 hours since I started the plan. More like 22 hours. 

Is this normal?

It can be normal for a brief interruption to your service to occur while the billing and charging systems change over.
