Playback Error - Error Code: lastRegistrationNull

I get this message trying to play movies or tv shows on my laptop. I can't see how to fix it sorry.

It won't register my laptop as a new device in addition to the tv. No problem watching movies etc on the tv (except I get "internet disconnected" in the evenings, apparently the network is overloaded).

Just discovered it happens when using Google Chrome as the browser. The Microsoft browser lets me register and watch. So I suppose the problem is solved - I'm forced to use Microsoft.
But the "internet disconnected" problem in the evenings basically makes the movies unwatchable. It disconnects every other minute.

I'm assuming you're getting this error message when trying to watch BigPond Movies?

 

If this is correct please see the following information, if it's not can you please provide further information as to what you're trying to watch on your laptop and Chrome browser that is throwing up this error message.

 

You should be able to watch BigPond Movies on any registered device, but you can only have 5 devices registered at any given time.  This normally happens automatically when you play a Movie or TV Show on a new device, it will be automatically registered and stored. However you may need to check that your laptop and Chrome browser is listed as a registered device on your Account.

 

If it's not you will be able to replace one device per month and can add a nickname to all registered devices via Settings > Devices page when you log into your BigPond Movies account online.
