why is this happening when it has played before and no longer works

So rang tech support and was told that some HD movies don't play on old iPads, so was refunded and brought the SD movie instead.

yes im still having problems. I have two brought movies and one rented that is not working and will expire tomorrow so not good.

Appreciate your patience in this. How are you trying to watch those movies? Have you power cycled your device in the last couple of days since the issue was classified as resolved? - Matthew.

Watching movies on a I pad and all the other movies work, I have power cycled it today and no luck, I only have a few hrs to watch movie now, grrr not sure what is happening. Have been a long term member and this has never happened. Cheers

I have the same error message. No warning came up saying wouldn’t be able to watch in HD. The trailer for the movie I paid for is working, but not the actual movie.
