How about black spots or places that don't really have reception?

what about the spot between Townsville and Charters Towers where a Nokia Blue tick phone gets no service but my Sensation gets 2 bars?

I wish to have Gerd Schenkel's contact details. No-one at Telstra seems to have heard of him despite my extensive enquires today. Also, there appear to be no links directly to him. What can I say...not much in public without being edited out?
