I have a friend who has a mobile month to month plan and also pays for an old 1gb a month mobile broadband plan to keep their email address active with telstra. If they were to upgrade to a newer mobile phone plan and ditch the mobile broadband dongle would they get to keep the email that is attached to the dongle's plan?
They would have to speak to a consultant at the time and request to keep the email. They would get to keep the email for free for 12 months and then there would be a $79 per year fee, as per the Critical Information Summary.
