Outlook cannot send emails, recieves only.

Answered

In the last two days I have been unable to send emails.

I have explored the help info and rechecked my settings, run malaware software and I use Norton.

When attempting to send I received the following:

Task '*********@bigpond.net.au - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6F) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 554 nschwcmgw06p BigPond Outbound [OB105. Connection refused. 120.144.155.21 is listed on the Exploits Block List (XBL). Please visit http://www.spamhaus.org/xbl/ for more information.'

How do I overcome this issue.

No new software has been loaded and no bogus emails received and or opened.

Re: Outlook cannot send emails, recieves only.

Your IP no longer appears in the XBL so your email may be working now.  Smiley Happy

If you are still having problems you should check Outlook has SMTP authentication turned on.   Spamhaus shows the subnet in which your IP address resides, is listed on the PBL.  This is probably due to another user on your subnet, sending spam and getting it blacklisted.  More info here:  http://www.spamhaus.org/pbl/query/PBL1552428

Re: Outlook cannot send emails, recieves only.

If you are using a VPN turn it off before sending emails.

Set it & forget it

With direct debit there’s no need to give paying your bill another thought.

Avoid queuing up and never worry about late fees again.

Setup direct debit
