Telstra Mail - mail older than 2019 moved to junk folder by accident

I have Telstra Mail and use Microsoft Outlook. I have accidentally move a folder where I've stored emails to the junk folder. I have moved that folder back to my outlook folder but all my mail older than 2019 are no longer in that folder.

Is there any way I can recover those old emails?

Probably not, unless they have found their way in to the Deleted Items Folder and haven't been permanently deleted by Outlook yet.

Your Junk Folder is probably set to delete messages older than 6 months automatically. And if you closed Outlook after you moved the folder, it most likely emptied the Deleted Items Folder automatically.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Hey PC4,

I am sorry to hear these emails are not present in the now restored folder, give our tech team a call on 133 933 and we will investigate this with you to see if these emails can be recovered.

Thank you.
