"all hosts for 'bigpond.com' have been failing for a long time"

When I send mail by the SMTP mail server associated with my Web site/domain name (not Telstra hosted), hemlock.nocdirect.com, to a Bigpond address (several, both bigpond.com and bigpond.net.au), I get a bounce message back:

I've contacted hosting support for hemlock.nocdirect.com and they say there is no problem at their end.

 

The problem started relatively recently (end of Oct, beginning of Nov??) and had been working before that.

 

I've made 8 calls/transfers to various Telstra departments, and have got nowhere.

 

Hopefully someone can determine what the problem is (be it at Bigpond or at the outgoing mail server).

 

I can send full mail headers if required to someone (privately, I presume).
