sending via bigpond email settings using outlook or microsoft mail etc using a different ISP

incoming emails are fine, just sending them, i have recently moved into share accomodation  and they use a different ISP, i still have my bigpond account for email purposes, the settings are still correct, what i want to know is for the outgoing mail what other port can i use so i can send, obviously port 25 is being blocked by the ISP, i need to keep this email address. logging onto bigpond to send or reply to emails is getting rather anoying..... there has to be a different port i can use to bypass this surely.

Enable outgoing authentication (leave the mail server as BigPond), and tick "use same settings as incoming". Should allow you to send email via BigPond on a different ISP.
