From the 5th October 2016 the SoHo Channel will be removed from the Get Started tier.

Foxtel are switching off the SoHo channel 5th October 2016. As a result, Foxtel on T-Box customers will lose access to the SoHo Channel.

Hi Dan, Do you know if any other packages are impacted, ie I have an "Telstra Entertainer Supreme Bundle - S" with "Foxtel from Telstra" and I will have to move house if my significant other can not watch "A place to Call Home"Smiley Sad

Foxtel have dropped SoHo all together on all Foxtel, Foxtel Play and Foxtel on T-Box services.

For their full service Foxtel and Foxtel From Telstra are adding a replacement and doing some combination, they will add Binge for some services and some new ones - which will be along the BoxSets style and a lot of others will move to Showtime I believe is what I had read.

A Place To Call Home is on the Showcase list

But the full details are here.

OK, had not seen that, but it is still not clear what will be included in the $120 "Supreme Entertainment Bundle"? if I look at https://www.telstra.com.au/tv-movies-music/foxtel-from-telstra The Supreme Entertainment Bundle does not quite fit as the "Bundle" has a combination = Entertainment + Drama (no sport or movies).

I suspect I need to be prepared for a hard up-sell?

If you have Entertainment + Drama then you should be right as Showtime is certainly in drama and from everything I can see Binge will also be in the drama pack, so you should be right.

Hey Guys, this particular announcement is for Foxtel on T-Box customers only. We have more details coming later in the week for Foxtel from Telstra customers.

So will Foxtel on tbox customers get a replacement channel or we just lose it?

All part of the clearing out of the tbox customers?

Good question Wattiegold, the formal? announcement can be seen here:

https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/Announcements/Bye-bye-SoHo-Hello-Binge/ba-p/609988

but it does not answer questions like yours (or mine). The announcement states that "Binge" will be "...available to all Foxtel from Telstra customers currently subscribed to the Drama tier in SD and HD format, at no extra cost.."

In my case I am on an Entertainer Supreme Bundle - S which currently includes SoHo and a number of other drama channels, posibly as a bonus, but I do not actively "Subscribe" to the Drama tier (or should that be "tear"?).

My "Bundle" and your "Foxtel on TBox" might be classified as Legacy Packages as they are not advertised on the Telstra "Entertainment" web site any longer. In your case you should get Binge included if your Foxtel on TBox is a "...Legacy Package that currently receive Boxsets as bonus content will also receive Binge as additional bonus content.."

I have no idea what is included in my Bundle, and what is a bonus, and My Account is little help in that context.

While checking for this response - I logged on to My Account and immediately got a "Pop-up" advertising that I will have access to an "Entertainment Plus Pack" until 20 October? Big Deal, but it does increase my paranoia that the words "Entertainer Supreme" may be deleted from my current bundle and I am left with a "Free to Air and Unlimited Adds" Bundle??

I think it is a case of "Watch this space and prepare for the worst case"
