It's given that this service will closed soon. They have their reasons and as much as subscribers would love to keep the service I dont think we can do anything about it.
Sad that there are subscriber not getting customer and tech support.
Sad that we cant get a refund.
Oh well, I guess I don't have a choice but to move on.
Although GamesNow is closing, I'm optimistic that in the near future, it may be replaced with something bigger and better. Thanks again fro your feedback Clyne.
I too have credit in my GameNow account what is Telstra going to do about this. Surely not make even more profit from the prepaid purchasers of GameNow. Trying to find anything about this as resulted in utter frustration due to Telstra's inability to direct you to someone who can help with the problem. Is it just another way of saying your bad luck to have a credit.
Just read that Telstra will not be refunding credit. Why isn't it transfered to our other services as a credit. I thinking of going to the onbudsman
This is why we have provided over two months of warning for the close of this service. So that anyone who has previously purchased credit can make sure they take full advantage of their credit, and also so that additional credit is not purchased.
How can I spend my credit when you can't buy games
Not happy with you Telstra i have been with you from the start of games shop even when you changed names and have been happy as you dont charge for download of games if i go somewhere else it chews uo my downloads NOT HAPPY.I hope you will get it together and bring back games.Is going to be boring playing same games as i cant afford to go elsewere as i said it chews up my downloads then cost me more money so unfair. I received the notice that GameNow would be ceasing on 14th Feb on 14th Jan - not 2 months earlier. I tried to access GameNow today 8th Feb and there are none of my saved games or any games showing at all. What happened to ceasing 14th February?
It's not easy to be a loyal Telstra customer when Optus and others are constantly waving better deals in our faces. One of the reasons I've chosen to stay is specifically for the GamesNow feature. It's a safe place for kids and families, and it's a terrible disappointment that Telstra is going to pull the plug on it. Please reconsider. Please.
