Does the App Need to be open

Hi, I have set up my Telstra T Voice as per the instructions on the app. My home phone is plugged into my modem. Can someone answer the question of "Does the iphone App have to be open  / or running in the background on the iphone for it to work?". I have read all the info on the Telstra website and cannot find the answer. Can any one help?

As long as you are in WiFi range of the home modem, then it should work with no issues. You can find more troubleshooting tips here
