The original handset has died - I have purchased on recommendation from Telstra shop, a T-Voice 503 but I can't get it to register - solutions please

To reset gateway press reset button for 7 seconds while gateway is powered on. See link below for location of button.

Have you pressed the DECT button for 5 seconds before trying to register the phone?

Thanks, yes and that does nothing. Will no doubt have to ring Telstra and wait in line for an eon.

Have you tried factory resetting the gateway?
