4K content on USB

Hi all

I want to play some 4K video files that I have on a usb hard drive. The default roku media application on the TTV2 will see them but when I play them they are all rainbow coloured / or only the sound works etc. The TV is a UHD set
. My android box with Kodi will play them fine on the same TV/HDMI cable
Is there any other media player I can use (or side load in developer mode) – I don't want to transcode etc with Plex, I just want it plug in USB and go

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Re: 4K content on USB

Hi @Brad002

Thanks for reaching out regarding watching 4K video files on your Telstra TV 2. Firstly can you please confirm that the files are one of the following types? MKV, MP4, MOV, WMV.

I look forward to your response.
