Help.... i am not sure what is going on but plex continually crashing as loading. I have tested on other devices and its working fine. Its only on my Telstra tv2

Working again this morning after performing the update.

Apparently, the Plex team worked with Roku to have the Plex app rolled back on certain Roku devices.

Big Thanks to them for fixing this so quickly.

havign this same issue on all 3 TTV 1, in my home, Plex app starts open then just closes

I have two Telstra TVs (version 3) and one regular Roku. The Plex app crashes on boot on both Telstra TVs but not on the Roku.

Same issue here, Plex works on all other devices apart from Telstra TV 2.  I’ve rebooted and reinstalled Plex app but it still doesn’t work.

I have the same issue Telstra Smiley Sad Smiley Sad Smiley Sad

My 2 x TT1 & 1 x TT2 boxes now crash back to the home screen when trying to load PLEX.

I have noticed that just before that happens Plex appears to be serving a Sign In or Sign Up screen to the TT boxes but it flashes off before I can hit ok to sign back in to Plex.

The boxes were updated on 1 Oct...

 

WHAT HAVE YOU BROKEN with your update Telstra ?

 

Please sort it out or I'll be shopping for an alternative & reconsidering my NBN with you at contract end!!

I am in the same boat as well. Plex doesnt work on any of my telstra tvs, 1 or 2.

I’m having the exact same issue. Working fine last night but broken tonight. Working on Roku just fine.

Please fix it Telstra!!

Did everyone apply the recent update to the Plex Media Server? I might have.

Maybe this update has broken things.

I'm not sure its easy to rollback Plex to the previous version.

@trickvy Yep, the app is currently broken.

 

No eta yet on a fix.

The issue is not the Telstra TV boxes, nor is it Telstra. The update is provided and pushed out via Plex, not Telstra. 

The issue appears to be the latest Plex update release on the 8th of October. 
My grandmother's Plex app on her Telstra TV box has not been updated, while my girlfriends has, only my girlfriend is having the Plex loading issues.

can confirm its not the plex update, mine was failing before and after the update. Updated plex for troubleshooting. its def telstra

plex works fine on my other devices, only telstra tv not working with it. this was before and after i updated media server. same issue only with telstra tv

Gday all. Read on the plex forum that the update has been rolled back.

To roll back and fix your issue, head to the Settings on the telstra tv, System  and then Software update. Worked for me!

After doing the plex update today I now have a similar problem to the one that occured last week Telstra TV tries to load a File then gets to around 33% and stops and goes back to main plex screen any ideas Please? ZCheers

@Whimpy I'm running the latest Plex server version 1.18.0.19.44 and have no issues with the TelstraTV.
