Telstra TV will not ARC.

Answered

I have tried all configurations, cables and ports.

Telstra TV refuses to ARC.

I have tried Telstra TV > Surround Sound > TV, but I get a pink hue over the screen which I was unable to rectify due to Samsungs HDMI protocols.

So I went Telstra TV > TV > ARC > Surround Sound, it will play the sound through the TV and refuse to send it through to the Surround Sound, I've also used 2 different surround sound setups.

I can confirm ARC is working as my Xbox One is using it no problems.

Can anyone help me here?

Re: Telstra TV will not ARC.

Hi DemolitionDemon,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about these issues, I can understand your frustration.

I recommend trying to manually adjust the audio output settings on the TTV and to look at adjusting the Samsung TV's ARC settings, audio output settings, and HMDI settings. If you haven't already, please make sure the additional HDMI cables are all HDCP 2.0+ compliant.

As the TTV's are Roku boxes, you may be able to get additional help by posting this issue in their forums as well.

Please let me know how you go.
