Telstra tv box get my money back $216 I have call 8 time on the 14/11/2019 I was told I can not get my money back as I do not have a telstra account I paid $216 on 13/11/2019 outright it will not work.

They should definitely not have told you that it can record. That was a function of the old T-Boxes years ago, but the Telstra TV has never had that functionality.

 

It is not designed to turn off (it has no off switch or function), so that does not count as it not functioning as it is functioning as designed.

 

As the Narrabri Store is not a Telstra owned store, give them a call directly on  (02) 6792 5553 and see if you can sort it out with the manager. Otherwise, you can lodge a formal complaint via https://telstra.com/complaints (will take about 3-5 business days for a response) to get it looked in to.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

If you bought it from a Telstra Store, you will need to return it to the store that you bought it from (most stores are licensed  stores, not owned by Telstra).

 

If you bought it online from Telstra, then call 132200 and say "Telstra TV Faults" at the prompt.

 

If you want help in getting it up and running, can you describe what happens when you turn it on and we will try to figure out what is going on.

(1) I was told the telstra tv can record It can Not record ( Telstra Narrabri NSW ) I paid $216 on 13/11/2019 outright from Telstra Narrabri NSW

(2) It will not turn off

I was told I can not get my money back as I do not have a Telstra account

Telstra Can go and get F I paid $216 and it will not record or turn off
