No Dial Tone in home phone and says Check Phone Line

i have had no phone for over a week. can't ring telecom. impossible for me to navigate websites. what can i do?

If there are any widespread outages or maintenance works affecting phone services in your area these will be advised via our Service Status page at http://servicestatus.telstra.com/ along with updates on an expected restoration time. If nothing is listed there then it may be specific to your connection, in which case our Faults teams are the best point of contact. They're available on 13 22 03 if you have a mobile, or you can report the fault via the page at https://service.telstra.com.au/general/home-phone-fault/?execution=e1s1 to arrange for line testing, call diversion, and any technician appointments as needed.
